Headshots

One of the reasons the house was so quiet at the start of the summer holidays, was because my eldest (lets call him Jay) has bought his first house with his girlfriend and they got the keys on the first day of the summer holidays. It's been a lot to get used to, but I couldn't be happier for them both - they have made their house a beautiful home and they are beautiful people, being beautiful together!
As well as that, Jay has also now finished up college and is just about to start an apprenticeship at a massive company, after competing with thousands of other applicants. His last shift at his part time job is this week, then onwards. My daughter (we'll call her Jess) will also be finishing up her part time job in 2 weeks time and then in August begins an apprenticeship too, within another massive company, also after competing with thousands of other applicants. I am so proud of them both, and also of my youngest who will soon be starting college and is also working away to save to his LISA (as well as to fund his nights out of course!) Is this not exactly what parenting is all about? We give them all we can, whatever that may be, and we try our best to raise them right. Then they leave us, which I can confirm is HARD, but it's also so special to see them blossom.
Since they were babies I have asked them to be my models, lots of times they agreed happily, other times they agreed grudgingly and few times they just said no. The photographs above were made following requests by them! Because they're starting their careers now, and needed some headshots - and mum was happy again!
